Bauma CONEXPO India 2026: The Industry Heads to Greater Noida

Bauma CONEXPO India returns to the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida from 15 to 18 September 2026, bringing India's construction equipment industry and its international suppliers into a single venue for four days.

For equipment buyers, the show is a machine comparison exercise. For the components and spare parts industry, it is something closer to a concentrated sourcing season. Hydraulics, powertrains, undercarriage, filtration, sealing, electronics and control systems are all represented, and the conversations that begin on the show floor frequently become supply agreements over the following quarters.

The timing matters. India's construction equipment sector has spent the past two years absorbing emission and safety transitions, rising input costs, and a domestic demand cycle that has not moved in a straight line. Exports, meanwhile, have become a more prominent part of the story. A trade fair of this scale gives manufacturers and suppliers an efficient way to test where they stand against both domestic and international competition.

What ISPT will be watching

First, the depth of the component exhibitor base. The number and seriousness of hydraulics, electronics and powertrain suppliers is a reasonable proxy for how far localisation has actually progressed, as opposed to how far it has been announced.

Second, electrification and alternative power. Demonstration machines are common at trade fairs; what is more informative is whether suppliers of batteries, power electronics, thermal management and charging infrastructure are present with commercial offers rather than concept displays.

Third, the aftermarket. Parts availability, dealer support and service networks decide machine uptime, and uptime decides repeat purchases. Exhibitors who treat the aftermarket as a primary proposition rather than an afterthought are worth noting.
